Happy October

Even though things have been fairly silent over here in blog-land, my life has been super busy. Was it just me, or was September a month full of commitments? I’m not complaining; I’m restless when I don’t have enough to do. However, its nice that today is a quiet day to catch up on writing and laundry-doing and cleaning and tv watching and cider drinking.

Also, is it a coincidence that it’s David Ortiz’ last home game series and raining/gloomy in Boston? I don’t think so.

Since I’m sure you didn’t come here for the sports chatter, here are a few links that I’ve been sitting on for a while.

Happy October!

This had me in cry-laugh tears (and then clicking on all the other art history reaction links).

I love this striped top.

I bought these shoes during Nordstrom’s big sale, and I l-o-v-e them. These are pretty cool too.

I’m sure you’ve already seen this, but I’m linking to Jessica Williams’ reaction to cat-calling because it’s perfection.

Also filed under Articles about an Amazing Women That You Have Probably Seen: Chrissy Teigen shares her stretch marks and proves that celebrities are just like us! Lolz…but also, i love her.

John Oliver, you’re pretty cool too.

Even though I do not even remotely like pumpkin-spice (I’m a Chai kind of girl), this article made me snort in laughter. I especially appreciated the nod toward Bath & Body Works pumpkin products: Where drinking a latte and lighting a candle is basic, you’re about to blow the roof of this fucker by turning your body into Cinderella’s sparkling pumpkin carriage. (Thanks to Melissa for this amazing link.)

And for my chai ladies (and gents), this recipe looks killer.

Feeling this color hat for the fall.

Oh, and also these flats.

Okay, now off to Netflix and chill (with my two dogs and this mug of cider). Byeeeeee!
